Many Buzz Channel online projects are designed to give our
clients ownership of issues.
We do this by jumping quickly on topical issues and then
feeding results through to our clients to drive their PR activity.
By moving quickly, our clients become the leaders in their field by
demonstrating a closer understanding of public perception than
their competitors.
One example is a financial services client who ran 5-6 short
studies during the year, immediately after Reserve Bank interest
rate announcements. Our client was able to confidently issue press
releases highlighting the human impact of the changes, each time
resulting in substantial media coverage.
Buzz Channel has used this approach several times ourself,
picking up high profile issues and giving New Zealanders the chance
to comment. We've then worked with media companies to cover the
issue, and of course to build our own profile.
